American flags waved and island music played at the TRUNO Red, White and Purple snow cone event July 3, 2014 in Lubbock, Texas.
TRUNO headquarters office employees took a break from work to line up in front of the colorful Kona Ice truck as they listened to island-themed music and added their own choice of flavoring to their Kona shaved ice. Friends and family of TRUNO also gathered in the West Texas heat to enjoy the afternoon.
The event celebrated the 4th of July holiday and the one month mark of Cash Register Services officially becoming TRUNO Retail Technology Solutions. Red, White & Purple also supported the well-known organization Feeding America. TRUNO, along with the help of Kona Ice and our friends at First Bank And Trust donated $200 to Feeding America, providing 1,800 meals to hungry Americans all across the nation. Experiencing such a beautiful and fun day with friends and family while also making a difference in lives of so many people was not a bad way to spend the holiday!
