Chris St. Clair has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer of TRUNO, a leader in advanced retail technology solutions, effective March 3, 2025. With over two decades of experience in grocery and retail technology, Chris brings a wealth of expertise to his new role.

After starting his career as a banker, Brad Ralston joined TRUNO as Chief Financial Officer in 2006. Named CEO and Chairman of the Board in 2011, Brad continues to foster success for his company, as Chairmain.

Before joining TRUNO, Steven Watters had a long history working in various departments in grocery retailers. Since 2002, he’s held most any position in TRUNO, which enables him to be the leader he is today. Steven became president of TRUNO in 2012.

Chad Smith spent 20+ years in retail before joining TRUNO as COO in 2017. A former TRUNO customer himself, Chad has a unique perspective on serving our customers. He believes trust is the foundation for every interaction.

Before joining the TRUNO family, Jason Thomason was President of the SAM Group, managing the company's systems engineers. Since 2018, Jason has been Executive Vice President at TRUNO, overseeing operations in the TRUNO Greenville office.

Julie Thompson joined TRUNO in 2006 as a Support Dispatcher. Today, as Director of Implementations, she brings together multiple departments and vendors to ensure a seamless solution implementation for every TRUNO customer.
Director of Warehouse Operations
Kerry Pope has been the Director of Warehouse Operations since 2009 and was the first remote field technician in Midland in 1985. In his current role, Kerry manages inventory and processes new sale orders.
Chief Technology Officer
John Poore has been an integral part of the TRUNO team for over 20 years. As Chief Technology Officer, John leads his team by strong example, exemplifying true talent and operating with efficiency on a daily basis.
Vice President of Toshiba Point of Sale
Glen Glasscock joined TRUNO in 2006 as a director of support and is currently Vice President of Toshiba Point of Sale. Glen is responsible for providing expert support related to Toshiba point of sale systems.
Chief Marketing Officer
Kara Watson started a career in tax accounting, but her fascination with the branding efforts of major retail clients quickly drew her into marketing. Having joined the TRUNO team as Director of Marketing in 2013, Kara now serves as Chief Marketing Officer.

Vice President of DMA
Frank Colbert joined TRUNO in 2016 with decades of experience in working with retailers and technology as a founding partner of DMA. As Vice President, Frank provides retailers guidance toward the proper technology to improve their entire operations.
Vice President of Sales East
Uwe von Sehrwald joined the TRUNO team in 2006 as General Manager of Sales for South Texas. Today as Vice President of Sales, Uwe empowers his sales team to deliver retail technology solutions across the Eastern U.S. region.
Vice President of Sales
With over 20 years of experience in the grocery industry, Michael Johnson joined TRUNO in 2020 as a Sales Executive. Now serving as VP of Sales – West, Michael leads the West Coast sales team, empowering them to deliver technology solutions that optimize grocery operations and help grocers thrive. His goal is to make running grocery stores not only easier, but also fun —just as it should be.
