Chief Executive Officer
Chris St. Clair has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer of TRUNO, a leader in advanced retail technology solutions, effective March 3, 2025. With over two decades of experience in grocery and retail technology, Chris brings a wealth of expertise to his new role.

Before joining TRUNO, Steven Watters had a long history working in various departments in grocery retailers. Since 2002, he’s held most any position in TRUNO, which enables him to be the leader he is today. Steven became president of TRUNO in 2012.

With more than 30 years of experience in the technology industry, Brett brings a well-rounded perspective shaped by leadership roles across support, software development, and sales. His career has been defined by a deep understanding of both the technical and business sides of the industry, enabling him to bridge gaps, drive growth, and deliver meaningful results.
Chief Strategy Officer
Wes Hobgood joined TRUNO as Chief Strategy Officer in 2025. Prior to joining Truno, Wes served as President of a growth-stage prop tech company that provides financing solutions enabling multifamily owners to adopt smart-building technologies. He led vision, strategy, and execution across sales, finance, operations, and partner management. Wes holds a B.B.A. in Economics from Texas Tech University.
Chief Operating Officer
Chad Smith spent 20+ years in retail before joining TRUNO as COO in 2017. A former TRUNO customer himself, Chad has a unique perspective on serving our customers. He believes trust is the foundation for every interaction.

Julie Thompson has been with the company since 2006 and serves as Director of Revenue Operations and Procurement. In her current role, she oversees revenue operations and customer billing across all revenue streams while also leading procurement, contract management, and vendor management.

Kerry Pope has been the Director of Warehouse Operations since 2009 and was the first remote field technician in Midland in 1985. In his current role, Kerry manages inventory and processes new sale orders.
Vice President of Toshiba Point of Sale
Glen Glasscock joined TRUNO in 2006 as a director of support and is currently Vice President of Toshiba Point of Sale. Glen is responsible for providing expert support related to Toshiba point of sale systems.
Vice President of POS Solutions
Paul Willoughby joined the TRUNO team in 2008 as a product specialist for NCR products. Building on years of NCR experience, Paul manages TRUNO’s NCR product integrations and maintains customer relationships.
Vice President of Sales - Central Region
Uwe von Sehrwald joined the TRUNO team in 2006 as General Manager of Sales for South Texas. Today as Vice President of Sales, Uwe empowers his sales team to deliver retail technology solutions across the Eastern U.S. region.
Vice President of Sales - Eastern Region
Don Edwards is a seasoned sales executive with more than two decades of experience helping retailers, grocers, and CPG brands modernize their operations through POS, SaaS, and payment technologies. Currently serving as Vice President of Sales, Eastern Region at TRUNO Retail Technology Solutions, Don leads regional growth initiatives, builds and scales high-performing sales teams, and develops strategic partnerships that deliver measurable business outcomes.
