AUGUST 1st, 2014 - LUBBOCK, TEXAS: Truno continues to invest in new technology to provide better, faster and more secure ways to service our retail partners. As you are already aware, we’ve made a change in how we access your stores today. Due to the ever changing PCI landscape, we selected a new method of remote access to your environment. This new product not only gives us true dual factor access to your system, but we are also recording and saving each session. This allows us to go back and review any activity performed by a Truno technician while working in your system.
Since the change to the new system, we’ve discontinued the use of our previous solution LogMeIn. Our records indicate that your company had or still has access to the Truno LogMeIn account for various business and personal uses. Due to the sensitive nature of PCI Compliance, we can no longer allow any third party use of our LogMeIn account or our new solution. As of August 31st, 2014 we will be eliminating all LogMeIn accounts therefore potentially stopping your access.
If you wish to continue to use LogMeIn to access your store please feel free to contact us and we will assist you in creating your own account. There are also other solutions such as Team Viewer that might be a better fit for your needs. As you consider your solution, please take note that Truno strongly advises you to only select a solution that uses dual factor authentication. Protecting your customers’ critical information is a high priority for Truno as such it should be for you.
