Frisco, Texas – April, 21st 2023 – TRUNO, the national leader in integrated retail technology solutions, hosted its 2023 Client Conference on April 3rd – 5th with over 250 technology leaders in attendance from across the country. The event is the seventh of its kind, returning this year with a focus on the new and unique challenges independents face today such as labor inefficiencies and frequent price adjustments.
The conference kicked off Monday evening with a welcome reception at the Omni at The Star in Frisco, Texas, where guests were greeted with live music and dinner. The next two days were jam-packed with over 28 innovative thought-leadership sessions and panels on topics such as:
-
leveraging data and technology to reduce theft at self-checkout
- efficiency gains through enabling IoT at the shelf edge
-
building a digital ecosystem to grow engagement
-
the digital evolution in grocery retail - how to drive traffic and brand awareness
-
retail AI at the grocery checkout
-
protecting your most vulnerable assets against advanced cyber threats
Immediately following sessions, attendees gathered on the Partner Showcase floor where technologies were available in a live setting. TRUNO hosted 33 vendor partners, the largest ever, along with TRUNO products in the showcase giving retailers intimate access to demo today’s solutions.
TRUNO’s TruView product was a focus on the show floor as retailers were able to see an immediate realized return in labor efficiency through automated reporting and real time access to transactions, drill-able down to the item level. Electronic shelf labels were another hands-on demo retailers gravitated toward on the showcase floor. TRUNO exhibited the integration of Store Director with SES electronic shelf labels to drive labor efficiency, minimize leaks in margin, and enable agility at the shelf edge.
TRUNO would like to thank our partner sponsors for being a part of the event's success. The next TRUNO Con is slated for October 2024. Dates and location are set to be announced early next year.
