Golfing isn’t a bad way to spend your afternoon, especially when it’s for a good cause. TRUNO proudly supported United Way at the 23rd Annual Jacky Pierce Charity Classic, hosted by United Supermarkets and its partners, on Monday, September 8, 2014. The two TRUNO teams took everyone by surprise when President Steven Watters hit a hole in one!
Along with other sponsors, TRUNO helped raise $325,000, the largest amount in tournament history, which was donated to United Way. Since 1991, the annual golf tournament has raised more than 2.6 million dollars for charities. TRUNO was honored to be a part of such a wonderful cause, and would like to congratulate United Supermarket and its partners for such a successful event.
